Shedfield Equestrian is a family-run equestrian supplies store, established in 1993. We’re based in Southampton, Hampshire, but we deliver across the UK.

The Shedfield team are passionate members of the equestrian community.

For us, equestrian is not just a hobby – it’s a way of life. That’s why we can provide our customers with expert guidance on the best supplies for their needs, and why we only stock products from leading brands we’ve tried and tested ourselves.

Our Brands

The Shedfield Equestrian team work closely with leading manufacturers to offer a range of leading equestrian supplies to our customers. Guided by our manufacturers, we undergo regular team training to stay on the cutting-edge of new developments in equestrian equipment, feed and supplements.

Leading equestrian brands we work with include Ariat, LeMieux, Brogini, Charles Owen, Champion, Shires, Bedmax, Global Herbs, Omega Equine, Allen & Page, Saracen, Dengie, Honeychop and Spillers.

Please note that feed and supplements are not available online. These products can be purchased in-store or delivered within a 20-mile radius of our Southampton tack shop.

Why we do what we do

Our Ethos

Shedfield Equestrian is the brainchild of our founder, Chris Collins. Chris recognised a need for equestrian supplies in the area, so decided to turn the family flower shop into a tack shop in 1993. The land was originally a pig farm, before it became riding stables a few years before the opening of the equestrian shop.

Shedfield has maintained the family values that have always been at the heart of the business, whilst bringing it into the online world.

Our values remain the same as 30 years ago: provide an exceptional, personal service, to nurture new riders as they develop their skills and to offer the best product for every rider and every horse.

Shedfield HQ

Shedfield Riding School

At Shedfield HQ in Southampton, we’re proud to have built a complete equestrian facility. This includes an extensive onsite tack shop and a riding school, where our dedicated team provide lessons for riders of all ages and abilities.

Shedfield Riding School is a registered Riding for the Disabled (RDA) centre and Pony Club member.

We strive to give back to our local community as much as we can, including supporting the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and sponsoring young, local equestrians to develop their riding skills.
